Overview:
As Design Head of Megaleio, I played a central role in conceptualizing, designing, and executing the Robowar Arena — the flagship attraction of the fest. The project involved translating competition requirements into a robust design, managing resources, and ensuring safety and functionality for live robotics battles.
My Key Involvement:
Arena Design & Layout: Developed the structural design of the arena, considering durability, visibility for audiences, and safety for both robots and participants.
Material Selection & Fabrication: Researched, sourced, and finalized materials that could withstand high impacts during battles while being cost-efficient and practical to construct.
Construction Oversight: Personally supervised and guided the team in cutting, assembling, and installing the arena panels, barriers, and protective shielding.
Testing & Optimization: Ensured the arena was tested for robustness by simulating impacts and making design refinements where needed.
Aesthetics & Branding: Designed elements to make the arena visually appealing, aligning with the fest’s technical and creative identity.
Additional Responsibilities as Design Head:
Coordinated with other event teams to maintain a unified design theme across Megaleio.
Supported logistics and ensured smooth execution of other design-related requirements (stage setups, banners, etc.).

Outcome
Successfully delivered a fully functional, safe, and visually striking Robowar Arena that became the highlight of Megaleio.
The project showcased my skills in design, project management, and execution under real-world constraints like budget, time, and safety standards.
